Brand management, marketing and event promotion for Jamaican based Bitcoin and ecommerce app — including Island Bitcoin, its monthly Bitcoin meetup in Kingston.
Flash, a Bitcoin and e-commerce payment app, needed to build brand awareness and drive adoption in the Jamaican market. The challenge was educating a market unfamiliar with cryptocurrency while positioning Flash as a trusted, accessible payment solution for everyday transactions.
We developed a comprehensive brand management strategy focused on demystifying Bitcoin for the average Jamaican consumer. This included educational content campaigns, strategic partnerships with local businesses, and experiential marketing events. We organized community meetups, merchant onboarding events, and promotional campaigns that demonstrated the practical benefits of using Flash for daily purchases. A centerpiece of that community strategy was Island Bitcoin — a monthly meetup in Kingston mixing Bitcoin education with games, music, and food. We produced recap videos, event photography, speaker highlights, and educational snippets each month, distributed through organic posts and targeted promotion to reach Kingston locals beyond the crypto-native audience.
